Barrie, June 20, 2019 – Hospice Simcoe hosted their Annual General Meeting this week. Our report to stakeholders and the general public was well received.
Executive Director, Kelly Hubbard, welcomed everyone and expressed appreciation for an incredible year full of accomplishments, expansion and compassion. As a registered charity since 1988, Hospice Simcoe continues to ensure that every person has access to high quality palliative and end-of-life care, comforting companionship and bereavement support when they or their loved one is facing a life limiting illness.
Since our 10 bed residence opened in 2009, over 2,000 people from Simcoe County have spent their final days and weeks in our care. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and fundraising events, there is no charge for any of our programs and services.
