Residential Hospice Care

Hospice Simcoe aims to improve the quality of life for people living with life-limiting illness. Our focus is on caring, not curing; and life, not death. Hospice Simcoe offers free care that extends to residents, family members and caregivers as we strive to help them care for their loved ones and themselves.

Hospice Simcoe provides end-of-life care at "Hospice House" which is a 10 bed residential facility that feels like home. Residents admitted to Hospice House have a life-limited illness with life expectancy of 3 months or less.

Care includes symptom management along with social, psychological, spiritual and practical support. Hospice House is staffed with a palliative care team including trained volunteers, 24 hour nursing, personal support workers, chaplins, physicians and other care and service providers.

Please contact us to pre-schedule your escorted tour. Tours are offered to individuals who are living with

life-limiting illness who may be potential residents at Hospice House. You may also take a Photo Tour of Hospice Simcoe.

Visiting At Hospice House

We welcome family and loved ones to visit any time, day and night.

The number of visitors is determined by the resident and family.
Children are always welcome, as long as they are appropriately supervised.
Well behaved dogs and cats are welcome to visit residents.
Smoking is not permitted.
