Early on Tuesday morning, March 10th, a huge group of enthusiastic staff stood behind

Jim McIntosh, Board Chair of Hospice Simcoe a cheque for $51,973.28.

The Scotiabank Buy a Brick Campaign, running for two years for Hospice Simcoe, has made a major impact to the build of the new Hospice House, scheduled to open this May , at 336 Penetanguishene Road, Barrie.
Hospice House is a ten-bed home-like facility that allows individuals and their families who are facing life threatening illness to live out the last days of life’s journey with the greatest comfort, choice, and dignity possible.
The Scotiabank staff team at the six branches in Barrie and Alcona, Wealth Management Team, and Commercial Banking Unit are making a difference in the lives of many residents of Barrie, Innisfil and surrounding areas by raising funds for Hospice House. Donation grand total from Buy-A-Brick Campaign to date, $113,473.
